Straight Arrow recording artist, Rik Palieri, would like to enchant you with his songs and stories. Rik brings with him a varied collection of instruments and styles of music, ranging from the traditional American Folk and original to Polish mountain music. A typical performance may include an Ozark mouth bow, a Native American courting flute, a fretless banjo, a 12 string guitar, and a selection of rare polish folk instruments.
Rik has performed in over 1000 schools across America, as well as in concert halls, Television and radio stations, both nationally and internationally.
Rik has performed with some of the best in the fields of acoustic music; Pete Seeger, Harry Chapin, Oscar Brand, John Hartford, Jimmy Driftwood, and has opened for Ralph Stanley and Rosalee Sorrells. He has done many international performances in Poland, France, Spain, and Scotland.
Rik received an honorary, year long scholarship to study the bagpipes and traditional music in Poland. He is happy to do block booking so that small coffeehouses can combine with local schools and community centers to allow performances to fit most budgets.
Rik is a member of the Vermont Council of the Arts Touring and Artist in Education programs.

working in a New Jersey cable mill alongside his father, he was laid off for inciting the
