Any artist can join DNIRA and become a DNIRA member. Unlike some other artist web marketing and distribution sites, DNIRA feels that every artist should have an opportunity, whether you are a seasoned veteran, or just starting out. The cost to join DNIRA is $250.00 a year. This cost covers maintaining your web page, phone calls, server expenses, and other minor costs we incur here at DNIRA. We do not charge a service fee for updating your webpages. We do not restrict you to an "Exclusive" agreement with DNIRA to market your work. (If you are a record label with many artists, the fee is $500.00 annually. This $500.00 fee covers up to 3 artist's. In other words, it is only $500.00 for 3 artist's webpage's if you are a label with more than one artist.)

DNIRA will then add a web page to our site under your name with the graphics of your CD or Tape, two sound clips on RealPlayer from your CD, a Biography, Quotes, Discography, and Tracks listed on your CD. And, any other information you might want to add. We will also add a link on your DNIRA page to your personal web page if you like. Also, you will automatically be included in our Foreign Distribution Collectives that are shipped out each month to our foreign distributors for their review and purchase. Each CD is sold to the foreign distributors at the going market rate for that country, which will include the current exchange rate for the country in question. For every CD ordered by our foreign distributors, a 50% fee will be collected by DNIRA, and the remaining 50% accounts receivable will go to you. We will contact you to ship us the proper amount of CD's for orders received, thus making your bookkeeping easy.

From your personal website, those interested customers can order your CD using their VIsa or Mstercard. We accept the order, process the order, and ship the order for you.

We also monitor airplay in the United States as much as we can. We then make an attempt to contact distributors in the area that your CD is receiving this airplay. However, U.S. distributors are a stubborn group and pay very little attention to
independents. Sad, but true. Remember, we want to sell your CD just as much as you do so, we are going to utilize all of our avenues of expertise to achieve this goal. We sell CD's to U.S. distributor's at the current market rate which can vary. You will be notified of the price each distributor is willing to pay before we sell any of your product to the distributor. So, the choice will be yours. As with foreign distributors, DNIRA will retain a 50% fee for each CD ordered by any U.S. distributor.

Additionally, your CD will be available through the DNIRA and MainStreet CD ordering pages. This allows the Public Buyers that are interested in purchasing your CD or Tape, to purchase the CD directly from us. We sell single CD's at retail for $15.00 and we send you $7.50 and we keep $7.50. Again, we contact you for orders received, thus making your book keeping simple.

You will also be able to utilize the other services DNIRA has to offer if you feel you might need them. Although, these services are at an additional cost to you.

As well, Guthrie Thomas is always available via e-mail, (when he is not on tour), to assist you with any questions you might have concerning, production, publishing, promotion, advice, and all around good house keeping. It always helps to have
someone to run it by...

NOTE

You must remember that DNIRA is not an advertising house, or a CD promotion company. Your production must stand on its own merit. The general public and the radio stations decide who they like and what they will rotate or buy. We have no control over radio stations or public opinion and tastes. So, we can not guarantee anything other than we will do the very best we can do for you. This is the nature of the recording industry, and often the best promotion is achieved by the artist themselves. We treat all artists fairly and equally for the benefit of all artists.
