Paradox formed in early 1998 and recorded a first album the same year. Gary Brooker and Gus Willemin, along with a fine cast of Oregon musicians, recorded two previous albums as the Oregon Coast Band. Look for these early albums ,"Eyes of a Fisherman" and "Another Rainy Day" to be re- released in the not to distant future.

I have known Gary Brooker since 1962. We met in an alley way through
an open back window and over a plum tree. I had no idea how long this
friendship was to last but, as it turned out, roughly 35 years now.

Gary also taught me my first three guitar chords, little knowing that I
would utilize that knowlege for 30 years as a foundation for writing
songs and recording records. Interesting...

Gary writes some exceptional melodies and lyrics, and is certainly well worth the time for those that are interested in quality writing. Gary is also one of the most dedicated musicians I know. If all of the musicians
i work with everyday had the tenacity that Gary has, I would probably retire from the music industry and fade into medicine...
